Four UAA MPA Students participated in last year’s event… Will you go this year?
On February 25, 2017 graduate students from NASPAA schools* competed at 8 global sites around the world in a dynamic daylong competition. Read the story of the UAA students that went here!
The 2018 competition promises to be bigger and better with an expansion to 16 global sites. Public administration and policy students will analyze a Food Security problem (related to UN Sustainable Development Goal #2) and present their solutions to a panel of expert judges. The competition will feature a simulation model, which requires students to apply the skills they learned in the classroom and implement systems thinking.
Students that participate have the opportunity to: meet locally and connect globally with other Public Affairs students, learn like never before using cutting edge simulation technology to address a relevant international problem, and win prize internships. Keep up with the news about the competition here.
